Taken during one of the "down times." At one point almost that entire floor became one big circle pit, except for a few people in the corners and against the wall (Incidentally the Indian guy at 0:57 in the lower left corner with the grey shirt was the one that got knocked out by the guy in th leather vest at 1:00-1:01).


Whoever it is who decides the band lineups (producer, label, I dunno) is on crack. I swear. What did they think they were doing putting Suffocation, Necrophagist, ect. on the same bill as a bunch of metalcore bands like Born of Osiris??
There were people doing that hardcore dancing (or whatever it's called) there! Flinging at thin air, doing that ' picking up change' move(or whatever it's called. It's scary when they can do it in sync). A couple times I thought for sure they were going to start break dancing. One of them had the exact same hairdo as Edward from Twilight, only bigger.

They got punished for it once the pit started with the next band. One big guy finally grabbed the "Edward" dancer, picked him up (I'm not joking), and threw him to the floor. Also, when the other people started pits they repeatedly singled the dancers out first.
...but they did learn not to dance for any other bands but their own. It was kinda odd because you could tell what type of band was on stage from whether people were dancing or moshing.

Actually, I think the dancers inspired everyone to make the pits even crazier. The Dying Fetus and Suffocation pits were virtually inescapable and involved nearly the entire floor. I'm probably going to have bruises in the morning (and my lip is already a little swollen). One guy fell down in front of me and I think he hurt himself, because he wouldn't get up when I tried to help him up. So instead I had to pry people off him who almost ran over him in the meantime. (he walked away from it though)

Oh, then there was a fight where one guy in a studded leather vest was literally on top of another beating him unconcious (he had to be carried out by the staff. I hate to say it, but I think the "Edward" dancer got off easy).
Other than that I'm sore and exhausted. About 8 hourse straight of craziness. XD

ADDED: Ok, the only bruise I ended up getting was on my knee where I fell once, and the inside of my lip looks like someone glued half of a cherry onto it. I'm more rugged than I thought XD
